Harriet
	Vane's arms

Harriet folded her arms in front of her, hands inside of the sleeves of her brown robe, and pensively watched the scene in front of her. The other women in the lounge, dressed in the extremes of fashion, played their mind-tricks on the weak-minded men accompanying them. The professional dancers, a rather short, frog like man and an overly made up woman in an extremely uncomfortable looking, kimono-like gown, whirled and spun on the dance floor in front of her . As the couple danced, Harriet heard the man say, "Mmmm, a game this is. The future I see. Tomorrow, the women to a job will go. Mmmm."

Harriet shook her head, "A game it may be, nonetheless, I've got a bad feeling about this."
