For our first full day we made a few stops, the first of which was Mesa Verde National Park.
The scenery was spectacular.
Everyone enjoyed the walking, and other activities.
There were lots of great spots for pictures.
The park has many sites where cave dwelling indians lived.
We got to venture down into one of their homes - it was a bit dusty!
The kids really enjoyed running around the ruins.
Annika took the time to pose for me on the way back from the ruin site.
It was a long, uphill hike back to the parking lot. Allan and Annika were troopers, but needed to rest before heading to the car.
