As well as learning all sorts of Classical things at the Institute, I also got to talk shop with another knitter.  She was working on a sock, and was using a broken rib pattern that I liked.  She told me the way to do it, so I have it carefully copied into my notes on the teaching of Latin in the 1800s.   

I've switched over to being about to try the Jo-Jo heel.  I got a large amount of this done at the Pub Quiz at Wild Colonial on Sunday night; Caleb and I played, and were in fourth place until the last round, which was music.  We then fell to eighth.  Still, it was a good evening, and I won us free nachos.
