This is how I plan to approach the C111 course material.

  My aim is to help you acquire a set of tools for you to use here at Heald, and in your professional career.

  I plan to spend a little time exploring the basics of computer hardware and software.

Throughout the course we will use Windows /98/2000.

  The bulk of the course will include practical hands-on learning of Microsoft Office 2000.

  We will spend considerable time exploring MS PowerPoint 2000 and MS Word 2000.

  Then, we will learn how to use MS Excel 2000 and MS Access 2000.

  We will explore how to integrate these applications.

  We will use Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator on the World Wide Web.
