Week Eleven - Due Wednesday, October 09, 2001 Access 2000 Basic Knowledge TEST!

  • Create a folder for yourself in a folder to be designated later by Mr., Wersinger in "My Network Places." After you complete the following assessments copy the created Access data base (Lancaster Clinic.mdb) into that folder to get full credit for your Access Test..
  • Complete the following as Access Test no later than Wednesday, October 9, 2001:
    • Complete Performance Assessment 1, page 1003.
    • Complete Performance Assessment 2, page 1005.
    • Complete Performance Assessment 3, page 1006.
    • Complete Performance Assessment 8, page 1008
      • Print only Assessments 8 for turn-in.

Week Ten and Eleven - Due Wednesday, October 09, 2001 Access 2000 Basic Knowledge

  • Starting in Chapter 19, Page 777, Office 2000, Benchmark Series, read and complete only the assigned exercises below:
    • Creating a Database, and Tables: Chapter 19, Exercises 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6.
    • Creating Relationships between Tables: Chapter 20, Exercises 1, 2, 3, and 6.
    • Creating Forms and Reports: Chapter 21, Exercises 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8.
    • Creating and Using Queries and Filters: Chapter 23, Exercises 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6
  • Try A3's Access Info Web site for some excellent readings about Access 2000.

Week Nine - Continue MS Excel 2000 Explorations - MS Excel 2000 Exercises (Charting)

  • By Wednesday, Sep. 26, 2001 complete the following Excel Exercises.
  • Chapter 12
    • Exercises 1 through 14.
    • Complete the Working Hands-On Excel Assessment 4, page 531.
  • Be prepared for a test on Excel skills on Wednesday, September 26, 2001. This test will be similar to the Word practice test. You can download the Section A Test Workbook, and the Section B Test Workbook, for Finals review.
  • Review the Excel Skillsets list.
