  • Take a look at PurpleMath's explanations about using the Quadratic Formula to solve Quadratic Equations.
  • For my really enthusiastic students you might find PurpleMath's Lesson on Solving Quadratic Equations by Completing the Square of interest. This lesson also includes a derivation of the Quadratic Formula. You'll find that derivation at the very bottom of the lesson.

  • Prepare for Test 3 covering Factoring Polynomials and Trinomials.
