Between the ages of 16 and 26, I worked as a musician with various bands you've probably never heard of mostly in and around the area of St. Albans in Hertfordshire.

Here are some of them:

Clive Pig and the Hopeful Chinamen:

Happy Birthday Sweet 16 (Waldo's Records, 7" single, UK 1979)
Sailor with a Telescope (Waldo's Records, Cassette, UK 1981)
Visions (Cassette, UK 1982)
Time to get Tough (Cassette, UK 1983)
Clive Pig and the Hopeful Chinamen (Hopewell Records LP, US 1983)
A Sense of the Size of the World (Hopewell Records LP, US 1987)
One Night in Greece with an American (12" UK 1987)
The Whale Zoo (7" UK 1987)

Clive Pig went to live in Devon and carried on his career as a singer songwriter. He recently released a CD of songs for children called A Whale of a Tale.

The Tea Set:

Keep On Running (Modern Records 7" UK 1980) - produced by Hugh Cornwell of The Stranglers.
South Pacific/The Preacher (Demon Records UK 1981)

Nick Egan of The Tea Set has set up a webpage for the band which you can view here:

The long lost Tea Set album, After Dinner Music, is now available to download at the iTunes store and on Amazon.co.uk.

I also contributed guitar to the following:

Psychic TV: Eve of Destruction (B side of Love, War, Riot) (Temple Records 1989)

The Wild Kitchen: The Wild Kitchen (track on Bam Caruso sampler Meanwhile Back at the Ranch, 1987)

Various Artists: From the House of Lords (Bam Caruso 1986)

The Tea Set album (unreleased)

Bongo Joe: Sympathy for the Devil (unreleased)

Various demos by The Wild Kitchen, The Wall of Folk and Huapango.

Two 12" singles were released from my solo LP The Great Indoors: The Master and Back in Time for Tea.

For 6 months I also worked on a project called She Sheriff with Macolm Mclaren, the less said about which, the better.
