As some of you figured out we had rather major technical difficulties with the site this month. Well to be accurate, firstly we had rather major technical difficulties with ourselves. We both came down with the flu. I think mine was a second blast of the flu I picked up in Russia as my boss too had a second run-in with it. Nick caught it off me this time round having successfully avoided it when I got back from Russia. We were both very sick and the dishes and other housework piled up and had to be addressed when we got better. Then we had the technical technical difficulties. Apple's fault I gather but don't ask me for the details. It should be all more or less fine now but Nick has spent a lot of time trying to get it right. Email us if you are still having problems.
We have both also been frantic at work. This being the 3 months when everything happens in England. The rest of the year is consumed by pre-summer wind-down, summer shut-down, christmas wind-down, christmas and new year shut-down. It all makes it rather hard to get anything done and then everybody wants everything all at once.
Unfortunately this all means we have missed one very important milestone. Happy Birthday Fiona (for the fourteenth). Yes I know this makes us very, very bad friends. We hope you had a fantastic day. Hopefully there should be something winging its way to you in the not too distant future.
It also meant that it took us longer than expected to upload the Russia photos, oh and there was a whole trip to Munich as well. We have now remedied these oversights and I strongly recommend that you visit the March page to discover what we have been up to.
As for May we should be better at updating, barring technical difficulties re-arising, as my parents are visiting from mid-May. This will mean we will be doing exciting things that you will want to hear about rather than boring work-related things. I also have just over three weeks leave which means I will be less harried and therefore more in a blogging state-of-mind. In the meantime, hopefully these updates will keep you occupied.
