Oh dear. How did that happen. I was trying to be good. Really I was. I thought about updating. Often. And we did do things. We went and saw Terry Pratchett at a book launch hosted by Foyles.
We also went to the London Open House at the Swiss Re Building located at 30 St. Mary Axe. However we didn't count on the other 2 million people who also turned up at 9:30am with the same idea. We thought we were quite well placed in the queue. Then we decided to perform a more detailed reconnoiter of the situation. The organisers had cleverly concealed just how long the queue was at the point we joined it. We were standing just outside the Gherkin, as it is affectionately known, yet the queue stretched around two city blocks in front of this popular pickle. We decided very quickly that while we would like to see inside this novel skyscraper perhaps a four hour wait for a 20 minute tour was not the most fun to be had on this chilly autumn day. We went shopping instead.
Hayley says she can't remember anything else for September. If you think you can help fill in the blanks, then pleaase, let us know.
And yes. I'm aware none of this was here in September. Pointing it out doesn't make you smart.
