Roof Bars are on
Yup, the roof bars we scored off eBay
fit the car good and proper
Now we have to gets some bits of wood or pipe to
make a platform for all the goodies and equipment we want to throw up there. Our
cunning plan is to cantilever a bit of weight forward, to increase the traction
to the front-wheel drive.
We've got
three pieces of timber about 50 x 50 mm and 1.7 m long. Spencer has cut notches
in these so they can be lashed to the roof bars, and we can tie lots of bits and
pieces such as a spare wheel and jerry cans on.
