One of the highlights of our trip up country was to visit a Fula
village. This trio was there to greet us.

The Gambia is predominantly a Muslim country, and it is not unusual to
see traditional dress.

Despite many requests from the kids, we had been instructed to give
gifts only to the head man so he could distribute them. Pens are very
popular with the school aged children.
