Bird Safari Camp is close to Janjangbureh on Macarthy Island in the Gambia River. We slept in this tent on the banks of the River Gambia. We went bird watching at dawn. There are about 500 to 600 species of birds in the Gambia, an amazing array of diversity, and incredibly colourful and exotic.
We were most impressed by the en-suite toilet and shower in the rear of the tent.
The veranda was wonderful!
