The International School of Latvia has a long history of community
service and connecting students with our host country. I cannot
think of a more interesting way to bring understanding of a country
and its history to people than by studying its many monuments.
Historical monuments honor important people, commemorate significant
events, and document the struggles a country has experienced.
The ISL sixth grade project will foster an understanding of Latvia
for both visitors and Latvians alike by igniting people’s curiosity
to learn more about Latvia’s past and its impact on its future.
