The Eclectic Art Nouveau style is very decorative and colorful. This style has many lines, uses flowers, plants, and faces in the designs, especially the facades on the buildings.

Many architects built hundreds of buildings in this style within a short period of time, about 1900 to 1910. They can be found scattered through Old Town, but especially in the Center. Look especially on Alberta iela, Strelnieku iela, and Elizabetes iela for a huge variety of Eclectic Art Nouveau buildings.
