Class of 1938 Reunion
The 1938
NHS Class held their 65th reunion on Peg Schwartz Goodrich's deck overlooking
the city of Newport and Cincinnati at the end of September 2003. Original
plans were to hold it at the Highland County Club but due to the small number
of attendees, this arrangement could not be worked out sufficiently. Her
daughter, Darlene, Class of 1974, hosted the event.
The attendees enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere to talk about old times and future
plans. They dined on Chicken and Corn Chowder, Field Greens with Dried
Cranberries and Glazed Walnuts, Sausage & Cheese Casserole, Grilled
Sausages and Apple Bundt Cake and Assorted Cheesecakes. Juices, coffee
and cocktails were also served.
Maggie Winkler Walsh from CT spent the week with Peg and Darlene Goodrich and
Jean Boyers Thorn from CA enjoyed a few days in Northern KY. Many
attended the All Alumni Dinner Dance the following evening.
