Llandudno 1999

Our one and only trip to Wales had a good turnout from the squad. Keith, Fritz, Gavin, Tony, Andy, Stef, Davie, Dave A, Steve and Alan made it along this year. However not everyone could make the whole week and this was to become the last time the golf holiday was organised for a full week.

We played some very nice, if rather snooty golf courses, Llandudno, North Wales, and Conway are all excellent courses, Old Colwyn on the other hand was a real 'sheep-shit' course. We all had to hose down our shoes after playing!

Llandudno itself was an interesting venue with plenty of pubs and restaurants but our best night out was the trip to Conway for the night. Although not one of the best venues we have had Llandudno will keep its place in Osnaburg folk law as being the location at which the 'Last Man Standing' trophy was purchased! With Keith being it's first ever winner (if the term 'winner' is appropriate!).
