OAC Independent Study Choices

In order that I may be able to give knowledgeable feedback during the course of your independent study project, the choices are limited to movie/novel pairs with which I am familiar and which are appropriate for an academic analysis.

The novels listed below are widely acknowledged to have significant literary and thematic merit or to have significant importance in the historical development of English literature.

Note: In cases where there have been a number of film adaptations, I have specified one. You must use the specified version.

Only one person in the class is allowed to study each combination.
