D. Minkler Anti-War Artwork
Wow, I just noticed a cool website: http://www.dminkler.com/index.html
The guy uses his artwork as social commentary and for activism, albeit from a mostly-statist perspective. Many of his works advocate non-financing of the State during times of open war by the United State, which shows a fair degree of morality and courage. All of his posted artwork is made freely available in poster-size resolution for personal use, which shows selfless commitment.

I think his use of primitive, even grotesque figures, rich color, and clear moral concepts are a pretty powerful spiritual/cognitive punch in the face, including the ones that train a critical eye toward how the state-incorporated "churches" are complicit, along with multinational corporations, in the violence and State-sponsored exploitation of overseas peoples and their highly coveted natural resources, i.e. colonial exploits by imperial powers. Of course, financing the State in so-called peacetime is the prelude to War, as World History demonstrates. But, as the Bible suggests at Romans 13, we should give tribute and honor to whom it is due, and D. Minkler is due some honor and tribute for his efforts, creativity, morality, and personal commitment.
Peace to you all, NJT
