Yo ho, yo ho Due to the success of the Magic Mirror, the scaremongers at ImaginEerieing are working on some new derivative products, and here's a preview! |
Update!
Due to demand as we stumble towards Halloween, we're releasing an
early edition Jolly Roger
for Mac OS X. This is a bare-bones digital puppet - all it does
is float around and open its mouth when you press the shift key.
But for those of you who want a pirate-themed magic mirror this
Halloween, this guarantees that you can at least have this if we
don't get the full iPuppet architecture out there in time. (And
no, it's not available for PC.)
Actually, what we're working on is a virtual puppeteering architecture so that multiple puppets can be quickly produced and controlled in both 3D and 2D. The Jolly Roger is an example of a 2D puppet that will debut with the new version of the Magic Mirror.
(The music will not be included in the final product - it's from the excellent "Pirates of the Caribbean" ride soundtrack.)
