Featured HowTo's
These effects take a little bit of planning, work, and cash, but the results
are fantastic. If you're looking for a way to boost your Halloween fun
this October, consider one of these projects. Be sure to check out
what others have done with our howto's.
The Magic Mirror and other Digital Puppets
Our signature props are interactive digital puppets that talk to your
visitors and dole out candy in an unexpected way. Presented properly, this prop makes for
a very popular attraction.
The Crypt of the Phantasm
A lonely ghost haunts a crumbling crypt. Combined with a Flying Crank Ghost,
this crypt adds life, or rather, unlife, to your graveyard.
Building Latex Heads
Learn how we fabricated the latex heads for our full-size black light puppets.
Our Haunt: The Carnival of Souls
The Carnival of Souls is a yearly Halloween celebration with plenty
of age-appropriate attractions for everyone from adults to preschoolers. There
is no violence or blood and guts - that scene is excellently covered by
other local haunts - but you won't find anything cutesy here, either.
Expect a genuinely spooky night of fun and chills. Every year, we try to add
a major new attraction for our 800+ visitors. We are open only on Halloween
night.
Madame Sarita's Spirit Parlour
Madame Sarita battles the evil Marius Blackwood, seeking to free the beautiful Sarah Beaumont from his
menacing power. Will she succeed, or is Marius Blackwood's black magic too powerful?
The Blackwood Mausoleum
Visit the family crypt of the vile Blackwood clan, where the promise of
riches lures unwary visitors into a deadly game of stealth and courage.
The Midway
Filled with spooky carnival games, creepy characters, and a solemn graveyard, the
midway is a fun time for even the youngest of trick-or-treater's.
Tours
Stroll down memory lane and relive past encounters with the Carnival of Souls.
Halloween Fun and Decorations
These are some things you can do with a minimal amount of effort to
spruce up your Halloween yard, add some spooky ambiance to your
Halloween party, or to give a little something extra to your Trick
or Treater's.
Handouts
Instead of candy, why not hand out papercraft projects and games? It's
better for the Trick-or-Treater's, and it extends the fun of Halloween.
Just download and print these out to a sheet of card stock (use the
"fit to page" feature in your print dialog box), and take them to
your local copy shop.
Easy Halloween Decorations
Here are some easy Halloween decorations you can make to spook up your
yard this October.
