Role Playing Games

[Neil]

It was shortly after I fell in love with acting in the theatre that I was introduced to role playing games. Over the years I have learned much about the art involved in both, and I find that "cooperative story telling" is perhaps a more descriptive name for what we call role playing games.

I've played in lots of games with lots of different players. I'm currently playing in three games in the Ann Arbor area. I maintain the pages for the Dark Sun game I am running, the Cauldron of Creation game I am playing in, and for the retired Cloesti game. The pages for the Planescape and Pirates of Dark Water games are maintained by the creator of those games, Ken Lipka, at his site. You can link to both of them from here. All of them are worth a look, even if you are not into these games, because the pages contain a lot of fantasy stories that have been generated by these games, written by their players.

Here are my gaming calendars.
