Alice Brockhoff 1992--2007

Arriving at 2 years of age and with us for thirteen, Alice was the thread that held us all together. Jerry and I composed this album to share our greytfulness for such entertainng company.

1994:"The brindle you were promised didn't come, all we have is a white one..."
1995: Rivers and beaches everywhere, and not a soul in site- back then, anyway.
To be safe, we purchased 19 fenced acres of natural wetlands. This is Schroeder.
Mill Creek flows under the road at "Schroeder's Swamp"- Alice's favorite part.
Christmas Card 1994: Alice was more regal in the image we chose. (Yeah, Right!)
1995: Dave & Alice were first members of NCG- parade attire: any red shirt!
1996: Our first two retired racers did lots of advertising- and lounging.
1997: When returns & seniors began arriving, Alice greeted them all.
1998: And when Mother moved to CA from OH, Alice was here to meet her, too.
1999: Kids need a pool at The Swamp in severe heat. (70 degrees tops!)
2001: Alice welcomed Mother for her Hospice Care in our home...
2002: Alice brings up the rear at the Swamp in this CG calendar photo.
2003: Alice was featured in the '04 Dewey Art Show in a similar portrait.
2004: Alice encourages one of the brides at their wedding in our back yard.
2005: Celebrating her 13th birthday with no less enthusiasm than ever!
Alice came alive after dinner- the others will miss her talented begging!
2006: Aloof as she was quirky, Alice never missed a day at the Swamp!
Saturday, 3/10/2007, Alice needed her assistance harness to get around...
Our favorite photo- Alice was the last remaining. Now, all are gone.
Alice's ashes and etched stone will join so many of her friends at the Swamp.
Twinkle twinkle, Alice. Always.
