T.R.A.I.L. and the Russian Touch 2007 | |

Trail 2007 and Russian Touch have partnered with the Russian “Severnaya Korona Foundation” ( “North Crown Foundation”) bringing four orphaned Russian young people from 15 to 17 years old with talent in the arts and some staff to South Devon in June to work with Trail 2007 artists and participants in creating a piece of recycled art. These young people had the opportunity to work with artist Julie Hauritz, learn new skills and enjoy a cultural experience that will enhance their lives and through them the work of the Foundation when they return home. We were all thrilled to expand our knowledge and have a Russian Touch added to The Sculpture Trail this summer. Follow the TRAIL link below to find details of this project. North Crown Foundation (UK Charity number 1107088) is a non profit organisation in Russia that works with young people and children in care improving their lives and potentials. Trail 2007 -Teignbridge Recycled Art In the Landscape, is a locally based non-profit artist led organisation that seeks to promote better understanding of the environment through art education to all age groups. Work is created that explores the themes of recycling and the environment through an annual indoor exhibition and sculpture trail displayed along the coast at Teignmouth, Dawlish and Dawlish Warren in Devon's largest free exhibition. Trail 2007 is supported by Teignbridge District Council, The Arts Council of England and local businesses.
