iBlog 1.4.5 build #1

Build #1 of iBlog v1.4.5 is out

Here is the list of updates in the latest build.

1. The application preferences has a new comments section for integrating comments and trackback (haloscan.com). The template files in the RightNavigation and LeftNavigation are updated to support this. To update your own template files add the following code.

Between <head> and </head> tags:
<script language="JavaScript1.2" type="text/javascript"> getHaloscanJavascript(); </script>

After <$EmailFeedback$> tag:
<script language="JavaScript1.2" type="text/javascript"> getCommentsCode(); </script>

2. The entry UIDs are now based on timestamp based on Year Month Day Hour Minutes Seconds (EYYYYMMDDHHMMSS). This will prevent duplicate entry UIDs.

3. <$BlogBannerImage$> and <$PublishDate$> tags are now supported in all template files.

4. Added a remove button for removing the blog banner image and fixed the issue with saving of image width and height.

5. Removed line breaks after entry title and description in the feed page.

6. Added support for checking the sizes of current data folder and the current backup folder before taking a backup to avoid accidental overwrites.

7. Added a space between the feedback link and the next link.

The next build will address these issues.

1. Formatting issue with some entries when the text is copied from a browser window.

2. WebDAV publishing on Tiger.

3. RSS encoding issue with FTP publishing.
