"The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls..."

I've always been amazed with graffiti. It strikes me as one of the purist forms of folk art in western culture.
These two shots particularly grabbed my attention when I first saw them, and they've continued to hold it
since. I decided that even though they've been here for longer than I've lived in the neighbourhood, I should
still grab a shot of them on the off chance that someone will take the initiative and clean up. At this rate I'll be
able to go out and take a shot of 'em every month and see what effect the passage of time brings.
