The last day of school



Well, today was the last Sunday morning that we'll be at Caswell School until after Christmas, or perhaps even longer. We are weighing the possibility of no longer meeting on Sunday mornings, at least not in the conventionally sense. Mainly 'cause of practical reasons like finances, and for us, trying to pack up four little ones and trek across town to an undisclosed somewhere by 9:30 a.m. (it's a miracle if we ever make it there by five after ten).

For the few weeks before holidays we'll be gathering in homes and focusing in on the advent season that is nearly upon us. It's my thinking that we, until further notice, are a house church. That may not sit too well with all parties involved, yet I believe it's the step that's God's placed in front of us.
