This field is divided into 3 smaller fields by two barbed wire fences running north and south through the field. I have been told that the owners don't want us climbing the fence by the highway and to use a gate further west. I don't know where that gate is though. It could be that you have to land in the west field to access the gate. Generally I prefer to land in the east most field and close to the highway. It is easy to set the glider over the fence then find some loose barbed wires to climb through without damaging the fence.

One good thing about this field is that a high performance glider can make it here in good ridge lift from Mt. Magazine. It is one and one half miles west of Rick's store in Havana on the north side of Hwy. 10. I don't know who the land owner is yet but as always you should respect his property. Don't land near the cattle.
