Loretta at the Water Fall Trail
Loretta and I walk along the west side of Mt. Nebo frequently with our dog, Tess. We stopped here to take a photo from Gum Springs trail head. That is Spring Mountain in the distance.
Tess in the Dryer Our dog likes to bed down in some really strange places. This is the first time I have seen her in the dryer though. Loretta had left the door open while she was folding some cloths. There was still enough padding for Tess to be comfortable though.
Tess in the Dryer Of course, for a Kodak moment like this one photo is not enough. Loretta likes this photo better and I think I agree.
Sunflowers in our yard I planted these flowers last year and an added bonus to the flowers was all the beautiful birds that rested on the stems to eat the seeds.

Sunflowers in our yard
A slightly more distant photo of the same flowers as in the previous photo.

Falling Rocks on Nebo
This rock formation lost a lot of mass over the winter and it looks like more is soon to follow. I am not afraid to pass underneath the rocks but I do not hesitate at all.

The same rock formation as in the previous photo.

Flowers below falling rock
I am beginning to think that I have taken too many photos of these flowers but my aren't they beautiful.

Rim Trail East Side
A view of the Rim trail facing south and away from the dangerous rocks.

Hang Waiting on a West Day
West winds are no good at Mt. Nebo. There is a fun fly-in this weekend but Friday may have been the only flyable day. It was way too windy this morning and now winds are the wrong direction.

Ho-Jo the Wonder Dog
This is Dave Morton's dog Ho-Jo who has been entertaining spectators for many years. She can climb trees and fetch sticks from high branches. Here she is looking for a stick that Mark Poustinchian threw over the east side of the mountain.

Nebo Road
I am amazed at how well these flowers are performing. I see them everywhere and absolutely must find out what they are called. This is the steepest part of the road up the mountain. I am just getting started going down.
