If you are about to relocate to Cambodia and you have not lived in or visited the country before, you will probably need some help in finding your way around the capital city, Phnom Penh, when you first arrive.

I can:

• Help you discover the layout of the city, the orientation of the main streets and the location of significant landmarks.
• Locate for you the businesses and services that you will need for the essentials of daily life, such as:
  • supermarkets, specialist shops and traditional markets;
  • suppliers of drinking water;
  • restaurants;
  • doctors and dentists;
  • banks and insurance companies;
  • telephone and Internet service providers;
  • post offices;
  • international schools and churches.
• Show you where and how you can exchange money.
• Introduce you to using motor cycle taxis ('moto-dups'), motorised rickshaws ('tuk-tuks') and cycle-rickshaws ('cyclos').
• Accompany you while you look for a house or apartment to rent.
• Help you arrange tuition in the Khmer language.
• Show you where government ministries, NGOs, etc, that may be relevant to your work are located.

I will provide you with a guide book incorporating a map of Phnom Penh, so that you can follow our route around the city and begin to navigate for yourself as soon as possible.

I will do my best to help you in any way that I can, subject to the limitations shown on the main page.

My rates are the same as those for visitors to Cambodia, shown on the main page.
