I have more than ten years' experience of escorting visitors to Cambodia. I speak good English and I understand the needs of people from the West who may be unused to living in a developing country.

How I Can Help You

I offer a range of services. I can:

meet you at Phnom Penh Intgernational Airport and arrange for a taxi to take you to your hotel or guest house;
show you around Phnom Penh, taking you to:
- the Royal Palace;
- the riverfront;
- the National Museum;
- Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocide and Choeung Ek Memorial to victims of the Killing Fields;
- markets and art, handicraft and souvenir shops;
- any other sites of cultural or historical interest that you would like to see;
arrange a boat trip from Phnom Penh for you;
escort you on a trip to Angkor Wat, arranging transport from Phnom Penh and accommodation in Siem Reap;
take you to a typical Cambodian village;
arrange a trip to the seaside resort of Sihanoukville;
introduce you to a Khmer church;
give you an introductory lesson in the Khmer language;
interpret for you if you need to converse with a Cambodian person or group of people;
help you extend your visa.

While you are in Phnom Penh I can arrange transport for you by:

taxi or mini-bus hired for a day or half-day;
tuk-tuk (motorised rickshaw);
motor cycle taxi;

or I can accompany you on foot.

I will help you avoid being overcharged or taken advantage of by unscrupulous traders, and advise you on health, safety and cultural issues.

I am happy to work with individuals, families or small groups.

Limitations to What I Will Do

I am sorry that I cannot guide visitors who do not speak English.

I reserve the right to refuse to:

accompany you to any place which I consider to be unsafe;
accompany you to any place where illegal or immoral activities are taking place;
participate in any religious ceremony that I consider to be offensive to my Christian beliefs;
introduce you to prostitutes, drug dealers, etc;
continue any interpretation I carry out for you if I consider the content of the conversation to be offensive, indecent, immoral or illegal.

How Much It Will Cost

My rates are as follows:

Daily retainer:	$10	for each day or part of a day that I act as your guide.
Hourly rate:	$2	for each hour or part of an hour I spend with you or carry out work for you, for example arranging transport or accommodation.
Overnight allowance:	$10	when you require me to stay overnight away from Phnom Penh. I also ask you to pay for my meals and accommodation.
Transportation:		at cost.

If you are not happy with any aspect of my performance, you can terminate the arrangement to use my services at any time without any further obligation to pay any fees.
