Myers Young Cooper (1873-1958)
Myers Young Cooper was born on 25 November, 1873, in St. Louisville, Ohio, USA, the youngest of eleven children of Lemuel and Ann Cooper.
In 1895 Myers founded the Myers Y. Cooper Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. This was a successful real estate and construction company that continues in business today. He had other business interests in banking, lumber distribution, and coal mining, and he served as president of the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors, president of the Ohio Fair Managers Association and as president of the Ohio Council of Churches.
He was inaugurated as the fifty-first governor of Ohio on 14 January, 1929, and held this office for one term of two years.
Myers Young Cooper died on 7 December, 1958, and is interred in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati.

Myers Young Cooper, II (1927-2004)
Myers Young Cooper II was the grandson of Myers Young Cooper I (above). He was born on 19 February, 1927, in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, and spent most of his life there. He was active in the Myers Y. Cooper Company for a number of years.
He died on 18 January, 2004, and is interrred in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati.
