TESTS...50% OF YOUR FINAL GRADE!
*Tests/Reports/Projects will be 50% of your final grade each marking period.
*All major assignments, tests and projects will be given one to two weeks in advance.
QUIZZES...20% OF YOUR FINAL GRADE!
*Quizzes will be 30% of your final grade each marking period.
*Quizzes may be administered unannounced throughout the year.
HOMEWORK...20% OF YOUR FINAL GRADE!
*Homework will be 10% of your final grade each marking period.
*All written assignments must be handed in on the due date.
*Each day that a homework assignment is late, 10% of the grade will be deducted. After 5 days of a homework assignment being late, the grade for that assignment becomes a 0.
*Nightly assignments are given each day in the form of reading, study, projects, or written work. These assignments will be posted daily both in the student's agenda and on the website on the homework page.
PARTICIPATION...10% OF YOUR FINAL GRADE!
*Having each item from your supply list with you each day counts for participation. If you don't have something with you for class, it is very hard for you to participate effectively.
****At the beginning of the school year, each student will be rewarded a 100% for a participation grade. However, after the two-week grace period, each day a student comes to class unprepared, one percentage point is deducted from the student's participation grade.
*The more you contribute in class, the higher your class participation grade will be.
