A report normally consists of 3 parts:
The Introduction
The Main Body
The Conclusion
Within each of these parts, there are various smaller sections.

A. The Introduction
This section comprises seven components:
1. The field of study
2. Existing work related to the project
3. Assignment definition
4. Claims for the project
5. The purpose of the project
6. The scope and limitations of the project
7. The procedures/methodology used in the project

B. The Body of the Report
This section comprises the following components :

The Theoretical Background
The Project Description
The Process Description
Assembly and Testing
The Discussion

 

 

C. The Conclusion
There are three components in this section :
Discussing the meeting of objectives
Proposing or recommending design improvements
Suggesting new lines of study
