The examples on these pages are based on formats recommended by the American Psychological Assaociation, in the 5th edition of the Publication Manual. Discussion continues on the best way to write references of electronic sources, and the examples shown on these pages represent a modified APA style for PRC students.

Formatting the reference page

Start your reference list on a new page at the end of your paper. The first line of a reference is formatted flush with the left margin, with subsequent lines being indented 5 spaces (this is called a hanging indent). The references are listed in alphabetical order.
