Museum
Body: Welcome to the Museum Of Stupidity. Not just another blog, this site is dedicated to, nay, let us admit it - obsessed with all that is stupid in American politics and culture. From Ann Coulter to Elf, from George W. Bush to Sigfried and Roy, if it's stupid, we'll be talking about it. The premise is simple - life has become too complicated. We live in an era in which some useless dingbat can write a book that seriously argues that musicians shouldn't be political ("Shut Up and Sing" by Some Useless Dingbat) and the book is actually bought by real people and discussed as though its premise isn't just plain moronic. We live in an era in which a stuttering, semi-literate, possibly retarded former drug addict, alcoholic military deserter can actually manipulate the system so he's appointed to the White House, then proceed to essentially dismantle the American Dream, and he's discussed like he's a real president. The Museum of Stupidity is here to cure all that. We're here to remind these schlemiels that they're patently transparent.
For example - This Samurai movie with Tom Cruise is getting amazing reviews, people are talking about its Oscar potential, and it's actually being referred to as a serious film for adults. Okay. Let's all take a deep breath, step back and look at it again. Hey, look! It's a moronic piece of Hollywood junk that craps all over the very culture it's exploiting! See how easy that was?
In the days and weeks to come, we intend to do a lot of that.
So come along for the ride!
