'Who wouldn't want to make a movie with Catherine Zeta Jones?' he asks. 'I'm a huge giggler and there was a lot of laughing on this set. The only problem was a scene where the whole house starts to move, and, yes, that was a bit scary. 'It was all mechanically done, so nothing actually shifted beneath my feet, but watching everything move around you plays tricks with your mind. I had to take a lot of seasickness pills beforehand and hang on to Catherine's arm for balance!' | |||
LN: I was 22 or 23 years old and in Belfast when it came out. There were bombs going off all over the place and there were assassinations happening every other day. But we had all caught wind of this film that was going to open. I remember seeing it in the cinema while I could hear bombs going off in the distance. The theater was packed to the rafters with kids and their parents, and the film literally transported the audience away from everything that was happening outside. | |||

Q: You have another movie coming up, too. How did Sandra Bullock convince you to work for her low-budget film Gun Shy? A: I read the script. I thought, I'm totally wrong casting, so when I eventually got through to Sandra, after finding out all her aliases - she was in Paris at the time - I asked her, "Why me?" She said, "Because no one would think it." I said, "I'm feeling scared, and very excited. That's my litmus test. I want to do this." It ended up one of the happiest shoots in my life. | |||
