Liam in the Premiere Magazine (Feb 2005 issue)

A short interview and a new beautiful picture see below.

Oscar Bonus: The Year's Great Performances - Liam Neeson

Who are your idols? Muhamed Ali, Father Daniel Berrigan (a Jesuit antiwar activist in the 1960s).
Describe your character in this movie. Kinsey was a pionieer. He did extraordinary interviews, using words like "sex" and "masturbation" and "menstrual cycle" (during the 1940s and 1950s). Meanwhile, he's this dry, midwestern guy with a bow tie. He was AC/DC as regards to his own sex. He was in this extraordinary marriage that was his foundation stone.
Any discoveries playing this role? Well, the rich tapestry that is mankind. Kinsey was so interested in the breadth and scope of the habits of mankind. The infinite variety. An the importance that we be tolerant of that variety.
Most humilating rejection story? I was brought in for the Andre the Giant part in the Princess Bride. I still remember the look of disgust on (Rob) Reiner's face when he saw that I was just six-four.
If you weren't acting you would be...? A professional fly-fishing guide.
Best bit of acting advice? Listening. It's about listening.
