Why MUGPort is here
The primary purpose of our non-profit group is to provide a forum for the exchange of information about Apple, Macintosh computers, iPods and all things related to each, and to provide educational support for Macintosh and iPod users. We strive for these goals using a variety of resources, provided mainly by our great members.
When all this happened
MUGport was born in February of 1988 as a group of Lincoln County residents interested in learning more about the Macintosh. Several charter members were also members of the Corvallis CMUG group, but had difficulty traveling the mountainous road in inclement weather (a rare occurrence on the coast of Oregon!). The larger Corvallis group (200+ members) has been most helpful over the years.
We have been happily "Mac-ing" in Lincoln County ever since.
