Preserve forests... Reduce waste... Re-use chopsticks!

Information

One of the primary goals of the Green Chopstick project is to produce educational materials about chopsticks and deforestation, to bring the issue to public attention, and to suggests means of change.

This website will be our primary tool for collecting and making available information about chopsticks, forests, etc.

Flyers: We wil design flyers occasionally as situations arise in which they could be useful. If you need a flyer let us know.

Let's Stop Wasting the Aspen Forests of China: a brief summary of the issues, created to accompany Honolulu showings of Zhang Yimou's 1999 film The Road Home.

Introductory trifold: I am currently working on writing an informational flyer about this project.

Materials for restaurants: As part of a restaurant pilot program, we will produce table cards and stickers for menus which outline the issue and which restaurants can use to encourage their customers to ask for reusable chopsticks.
