Another Press release and Beta version for the science community

This is to let you know that we have released the first beta of version 6.0.0 of pro Fit, our application for fitting, plotting and data analysis. You can download this version from

pro Fit 6.0 comes with a large number of improvements and new features. A full list can be found in the release notes included with the download. Here are some highlights:
* Drawing: Quartz rendering, built-in support for PDF, PNG and TIFF
formats, improved EPS export, hatching, multi-line texts.
* Plotting: built-in support for color plots and contour plots,
dynamic updating of plots when the underlying data/function has
been changed.
* Text windows: unlimited size, syntax coloring.
* Programming: Many additional commands, functions can have multiple
y-values.
* and much more...
