RoboChallenge is a program designed to reach students from under-served communities surrounding The University of California at Santa Barbara, with the highly motivating and richly educational field of robotics. Students in RoboChallenge build LEGO robots for a variety of challenges, such as Sumo, Tug O' War, and Linefollowing. They participate in events and gain exposure to the fields of Robotics, Computer Science, and Engineering. Students are encouraged to excel in education and to attend the university. Over 600 students have participated in RoboChallenge since it began in 2000. (Click here to Read more about the program) or Download the Brochure: 884 kb or Watch the Quicktime Video Overview 11MB
