David's other projects include presentations and lectures, taking him from the National Film Theatre, London to the National Arts Club, New York, and many places in between; to speak on Sherlock Holmes, Arthur Conan Doyle and more. And crime fiction.

David also conducts one-day writing courses, and these have proved very popular, and highly enjoyable, and stupendously lucrative!

That isn't absolutely true. But both David and his students find their imaginations fired up at the end of the day, and that's better than money. (For the students anyway).

Now his name is known, and carries a certain amount of pose value, David is much in demand by film and TV producers to add a little prestige, a little va va voom, to top quality DVD releases. David has conducted interviews with many film makers and actors, including David Jason for the Frost series DVDs, and on the new Jeremy Brett Holmes releases. He has written and narrated commentaries for the MPI release of the digitally re-mastered Basil Rathbone Holmes films.

Oh, and let's not forget David's other little sideline - in cahoots with fellow author Matthew Booth, operating from a top secret location - they are THE MYSTERY MEN - Black-clad Crimewriters, crusaders in a dangerous world, championing the cause of literary performance-lacking citizens everywhere. There's my homie Matthew Booth. A self made millionaire he's quite a guy. Then there's D.S.D. He's gorgeous, he's one guy who knows how to take care of himself. By the way my name is Max. I take care of both of them, which ain't easy. Cause when they met, it was moider!
