Since 1971,
The
Conservatory of Piano has offered unsurpassed excellence in
piano instruction in the central Ohio area. An entire school devoted
to the study of piano, The Conservatory of Piano teaches approximately
800 students, ages 3 and above, in its two central Ohio locations.
The Conservatory of Piano
is dedicated to providing excellent and consistent piano instruction.
We believe in developing recreational pianists who will possess
a musical skill and appreciation that will enrich their entire
lives.
An ideal learning environment, The Conservatory of Piano provides a refreshing
alternative in piano education. In a highly academic atmosphere,
students experience an exciting and enjoyable place to learn to
read music and play the piano. Our unique teaching methods and
realistic practice requirements guarantee superior progress and
fun for every student.
The Conservatory of Piano
believes that piano lessons are for every child, and reaches out
to every segment of society, successfully teaching blind, deaf,
and mentally challenged students as well as children from the
mainstream. Attention is paid to every child's individual needs
and each lesson is tailored toward these needs, thus creating
the highest possible opportunity for successful learning.
Private lessons are available for students of any age and level. The Conservatory of Piano has proven successful
with students who begin at The Conservatory as well as with students
who transfer from other piano lesson situations. Students receive
a weekly half-hour lesson with a teacher professionally trained
in the art of piano education. Every student is different and,
though there is a standard core curriculum, each lesson is geared
to each student's individual needs and abilities. Though group
interaction is provided in frequent performance classes, the lessons
are entirely noncompetitive sessions that progress at each student's
personal achievement level. Special consideration is also given
to the needs of mentally, physically and educationally challenged
students.
Continuity of
excellent instruction is a trademark of The Conservatory of Piano. To assure this,
detailed records are kept of every lesson. The highly qualified
administrative staff, with over 95 combined years of experience,
reviews these records regularly to insure that progress is appropriate
and consistent, thus upholding the motto:
excellence in piano instruction
is our only business.sm
