Olympia!!! 


 

Olympia… We weren’t supposed to come here but I guess there was some sort of problem in Ephesus so we couldn’t go there… I feel slightly cut off from the world of news however I think I heard that there were some terrorist things going on there and that’s why we didn’t go?

Anyway Olympia was awesome! It was where the first Olympic Games were held to honour the ancient gods…



Anyway this place was very cool… There were ancient temples for Zeus… Many of the Columns had fallen over and the each of the drums was as tall as Nat…



We then went to a museum where many of the statues etc had been moved… They were quite impressive! Also this angry greek dude slapped me on the arm for standing on a bench so I could take this picture..
