springtime in the central ohio garden

It's been the most pleasant Ohio springtime that I've experienced since moving here in 1999. We haven't had any cold - or hot - snaps, just nice moderate spring-like temperatures with lots of sun.

The garden has really benefited from all this nice weather. As you can see from the photo above, everything is growing and looking very nice. There aren't a lot of flowers at the moment, but you can still see the fading pink/red of the redbud and the brilliant white of the doublefile viburnum coming on strong.

We would benefit from a bit more rain. We may get it, with the forecast for tomorrow being "showers likely".
