Olentangy Schools: excellent AND cost effective





Olentangy Schools had it's two high schools qualify for Newsweek's 1000 best public high schools list.

Only four central Ohio schools were on the list: Columbus Alternative (286), Olentangy (397), Bexley (776) and Upper Arlington (829). While Olentangy Liberty was left off the published list, Newsweek has indicated that it will appear on a corrected list in the "top 400".

Also noted by the district was the fact that of the four districts represented on the list in central Ohio, Olentangy had the lowest expenditures per pupil. And of the 22 high schools that made the list in the entire state, Olentangy had the second lowest expenditures per pupil.

So Olentangy is not only doing a terrific job of educating our children, it's doing it very efficiently. Nice.
