Cool Links

The 2nd Annual International Humanities Conference; Prato, Italy. This is a conference at which I presented work on the place of desire in de Beauvoir's Ethics. Check out the sessions and the mandate. Very cool!

Abilities Magazine online. This is a magazine for those who have or those who are interested in "disablities". The magazine makes a point of looking at all the things people with disabilities CAN DO.

EGALE Canada. This is a national organization dedicated to securing human rights for gays, lesbians and transfolk. Take a look.

I am on leave for the fall of 2004, but in Winter 2005 I will be teaching:

SY 102: CRITICAL THOUGHT AND ANALYSIS

SY 305: CULTURAL FORMS

SY 413: EMBODIMENT AND DISABILITY. My research leave in the fall of 2004 is allowing me time to do fieldwork with families raising children with disabilities. I look forward to sharing what I learn.

KS 101: CULTURE IN THEMATIC PERSPECTIVE. This is a course that I will be team teaching with Professor Jonathan Finn of the Communication Studies Department.

Please consult the Wilfrid Laurier Calendar for information on the courses. All my courses for this year are full. Those who wish to enter may be placed on a waiting list, but there is NO GUARANTEE that you will be able to secure a spot.
