Terminator vs. Governator
Guv challenges former sexborg to clash of
words
In the latest installment of "As the
Recall Churns", California governor Gray Davis has challenged politico-wannabe
Arnold Schwarzenegger to a debate. "Mr. Schwarzenegger is wrong," said Davis,
during a campaign appearance covered by CNN in Ah-nold's hometown of
Hollywood. "He is mischaracterizing the facts and running down this great state.
And that's not fair to 35 million Californians," he continued, in an apparent
oversight of some 591,000 additional California citizens, by the latest count. Throwing down the gauntlet, Davis
burst out "I'm not going to take it anymore, and right here, right now, I
challenge him to a debate." As his opponent was not in the vicinity at that
moment no debate consequently took place, and there was no immediate response
from the Schwarzenegger camp. Davis' press office upped the ante later in the
day, declaring in an email to the Sacramento Bee that Gray Davis had once
"felt-up a girl" and that they were actively searching skin-magazine archives
for proof.
