*9 deaths have occurred since August 7, 2009 of lab confirmed H1N1. 6 deaths of "other" flu have also been reported. These were not confirmed H1N1 cases. However, CDC reports that nearly all flu cases and deaths are currently due to the new H1N1 virus.
