74 people have died in Michigan (10 deaths had occurred from April to September 2009):

  • Allegan County (1): a 29 year old woman from Otsego.
  • Calhoun County (2): a 21 year old man; a 71 year old woman.
  • Dickinson County (1): an adult
  • Eaton County (1): a man.
  • Jackson County (1): a 54 year old man.
  • Kalamazoo County (3): a person in their forties; a woman in her late twenties; a 10 year old boy.
  • Kent County (4): a 52 year old woman from Cutlerville; a 33 year old man from Grand Rapids (a student at Grand Valley State University); a 24 year old woman; a man in his fifties.
  • Lapeer County (1): a 58 year old man from North Branch.
  • Macomb County (4): a 53 year old woman; a 28 year old police officer; a 63 year old woman.
  • Menominee County (1): an adult.
  • Muskegon County (2): a 43 year old woman; a 58 year old man.
  • Oakland County (3): a 44-year old man from; a man in his fifties.
  • Ottawa County (1): a 54 year old man.
  • Roscommon County (1): a 58-year-old man.
  • Washtenaw County (1): a 48 year old man from Chelsea.
